n 2020, The Toronto-Calcutta Foundation partnered with Social Planning Coundil of Peel to offer a leadership skills training program aimed at immigrant youth. The primary goal of the program was to help participants develop resume-writing skills and enhance their leadership abilities. A total of 76 youth took part in the program, which was met with a positive response.

“This workshop has helped me to understand what most employers seek in individuals during job interviews and provided me with lots of information regarding financial fundamentals.”
 
“This workshop has helped me with highlighting the importance of skills as well as finding jobs that fit my strengths. It improved my morale as I was in doubt about my job search.”
